Production and Test environment on 1 server with EditSite

Dear all,

I have created a test and production environment by having two Project
server databases and two virtual directories by using editsite and copying
databases.

One problem has already shown up: if a cube with the same name exists in
both test and production, the most recent built cube is shown in both
environments.

Therefore, I will include an action in the 'copy production database to test
database' to afterwards change the cube to 'TestCube' in the portfolio
analyzer views, and in the Manage Enterprise Features admin page.

Are there any other possible problems with this setup?

Just a high level observation: what if you wanted to test a service
pack upgrade and you have to re-start the server. In that case you
would have to disrupt the production server which is the whole point of
having a test server. jb.
