I have office 2000 cd's but when I put the cd in and it
requests product key on the back I enter it but rejects
it as not valid. I tried several times but it will not
work. I am trying to install it on my new laptop and it
is still on my old desktop. Does this make a difference
and how do I get in on my laptop. Thanks,

Ensure that you are reading the installation PID correctly. Sometimes the
8s appear as Bs.
