Hi,
I am currently at a site where there are a largish number of
non-network connected PC's (Thye connect via dial up intermittently....
- i know, i nearly fell over too!)
anyhoo - the SOE users auto profile creation for all network connected
PC's, but for PC's at dial-up sites, only one user profile is used....
With outlook XP, a ancient script is used, which creates a profile for
them based on a username entry and then populates the domain\username
for the outlook logon prompt.
With outlook 2003, this no longer works... or is flaky... setting the
username domain in the regkeys....
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\UserName &
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\LogonDomain
are used in the XP script - and seem to work on some machine with 2003,
but not on the majority....
I have been searching for ways around this - and have been unable to
find much information on the outlook.application.logon method. If
anyone has any ideas about how i can scriptually force pre-populated
authentication with a specific profile it would be great.
thanks.
