Profiles and cached address book

I'm using Office 2003 SP1 configured for 2 profiles under the same WinXP/2
user. Both profiles are configurted to use cache mode.

I know you can not maintain 2 cached address-book under the same same
WinXP/2 user :-( and I'm looking for a way to disable one of the profiles
cached address book.

Any idea?

You'd have to disable Cached Exchange mode completely on one profile.

Does it have to be either or, would what you want, work if you kept both
profiles in cached mode but forced them not to have an offline address book
as I believe there is a registry setting that will disallow the offline
address book.

If I can disable one of the profiles address-book cache (only the address
book), it will be great. I did not find any description how to it in the
registry.

Any lead?

As far as I know you cannot disable just the one, the registry key disables
the offline address book for the logged on user irrespective of profile as
the key is in HKEY_Current_User hive. Setting the key forces Outlook to
contact the GAL, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823580/ for more
information
