Progams in Office are locked.

All of a sudden. Cannot edit existing word docs. Can't begin to work in new
ones. Tried to Activate the program from the Help tab. Tried to Restore from
the Microsoft Tools Repair tab. Any suggestions other than reintalling the
entire suite?

What happened when you tried to Activate? If you have a Trial Version
of Office 2003, perhaps the trial period (50 uses) has expired?
