I have inheritted a computer at my workplace. It is loaded with Office 2000,
along with Outlook (ver. 9xxxxxxx). When I attempt to reply or forward a
messge, I start to type inside the reply/forward and the program auto-inserts
the previous user's name (i.e. [Jane Doe] including the brackets) into the
main body text. I have looked under the macros to see if a macro for this
existed or somekind of virus was present. No macro is listed. I even tried
looking under Rules (longshot, I know), again nothing. I even looked under
the "When replying/When forwarding" option, and nothing is set. I am at a
loss as to why this is happening or how to correct/remove this
auto-insertion. This issue does not happen when I create a new message, only
when attempting to forward or reply to a message. Has anyone else had this
issue, and/or does anyone know a fix to correction this?
Thanks in advance...
