Program Automatically Sending files

I have some software that automatically sends files in a .dss format using
Outlook 2003 using MAPI. However, when I recieve the emails, the .dss files
are not attached. When I manually create an email and attach the file, it
works fine. When I click on my sent items folder, they are indeed attached.
Where is the setting in Outlook 2003 that needs to changed in order for these
files to be attached? Thank you very much.

There is no such setting. It sounds like there's something odd with the software creating the messages. Do you receive the files fine when you send them manually?

Has it ever worked? or is it new?

The files are fine when the email is sent manually. I think this has to do
with the security guard in Outlook.

In which case, the issue is the code used by the program sending the files.
