Program closes when I click on page

I've been editting and publishing my site using FrontPage
2002 for over two years. This week I've been trying to
create new pages to add, but every time I get to the
middle of the page I'm creating, and click on my mouse,
the FrontPage program shuts down. All the previous pages
I have created thus far are fine and can be editted with
no problems. I don't understand why this is happening to
the new pages. Could it have something to do with the
new XP SP2?
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Christina

Have you tried the usual repairs in the sequence below:
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 you need to look in the super hidden folder
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\FrontPageTempDir
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
3) Run a Repair on IE
(see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=318378 )
4) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, MS Office and your Video card
(Windows Update and Office Update sites, plus your video card supplier site)
5) Open FP and Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins,
6) Open your FP Web/Site and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks

Yes. I have no problem publishing the new pages on the
web or navigating them. However, I cannot edit them
completely on my computer. Each new page lets me edit it
to a certain point on the page. After that, whatever I
click on below that point, closes the entire FrontPage
program. This has only happened on the few new pages I
just created in the past week. All other previously
designed pages in my web are fine. Is there a test I can
perform to see if something is corrupt on the pages?
I've re-created these pages a few times, however I keep
coming up with the same results every time. I'm not sure
what to check anymore. Do I need to just re-install FP
because a component has gone wacky?
Thanks again.
