Program closes

When I use the mailing feature in MS Office 2007 (Word), to print envelops
and go to my contact list to insert an address, Word shuts down. I have
checked that all my updates are current. I am using Vista and I have not had
any luck resolving this problem-- can someone offer a solution? Thank you
