Program crash

Hi! The following message appears when I attempt to put
new data into my database.

"MSACCESS.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
windows. You will need to restart the program. An error
log is being created"

The program simply crashes every time without fail. I
attempted to repair the database, re-install the MS
Office, upgrade it, check for viruses and errors but it
did not fix the program. It is not a bug in this computer
b/c same happens on other computers in my office. But if
I use the program at home or in any other location
(besides my office) it works like charm.

Computer people in my company are clueless.

Any smart people out there who want to wrestle this one?

Sounds like a challenge
And what about the OS version and MS Access version?
And what about the comparison of the OS verison on the working and non
working computers?
And by the way, IE version as well?

I have seen this with other MS apps as well. Mainly we use NT4 and 2000 at
work. What I usually do is recreate the user profile. This usually fixes
most of the problems.

Why recreating the profile fixes errors like this, I do not know - but it
does.

I'd first suspect an anti-virus program. Check with your Admin and have him
try to exclude mdb's from being scanned.
