program crashes each time I use it

Started a few days ago - getting worse. It fades out and a message that the
program has quit working comes up with option to close or solve problem.
Twice it has come up with a message that it has a serious problem with
another software - accepted disable and next time it was a difference one.
Ran dianostics twice but it shows no problems. Happens each time I try and
use it now.

I am having a similar problem. It started from one day to the next. I opened
Word 2007 today, but no cursor appears in the blank page, and the program
stops responding when any of the menus or commands are clicked on. I tried
using the repair function on the OEM CD ROM - it didn't fix the problem. I
also tried a complete uninstall and reinstall - no solution; exactly the same
problem occurs. It might be a virus, but nothing shows up on Norton Antivirus.

Try disabling the Office Plug-in option in NAV.

If that doesn't resolve the problem, what happens if you start Word in Safe
Mode? From Start | Run (Winkey+R), type in

winword /a

and press enter. Is Word stable in safe mode?
