Program Plan and Nested Workspaces - benefits

Hi, I have created a Master Plan to represent a Program plan in Project
Server and inserted project plans inside it to represent the detailed
projects. When I create individual workspaces at project level I ensure that
the project workspaces are sub sites of the program one.

Other than the workspace visual heirachy of URLs from PWA to Program to
project plan are their any other features than this arrangement makes
available eg will the Risks/Issues be available at Program level, does the
purpose of the RBS remain the same or does the Program/Project plan heirachy
do anything specific to the permissions??

With standard SharePoint, there is no rollup affect for things like Issues
and Risks by creating your project workspaces as subsites of a program
workspace. RBS remains the same as well.

What you do get, I believe, is search capabilities in the Program site that
will search the subsites as well.

If you implement MOSS, you could enable some webparts that would allow for
Issues and Risks rollups from subsites and in that case, making them
subsites would be key.
