program stops responding when close

Word 2007 on Vista seems to function just fine, but when I go to close the
program, it hangs up and I get a message that says "MS Word has stopped
working". Then I have to click cancel to close the program. I have run
diagnostics, repairs, uninstall & reinstall and it still hangs up.

Hi Suzanne,

You have a multifonction HP printer? It's always the driver of the printer
do that. The workaround way it's to select another printer as the default
one and select the HP printer manually when you want to print.

Si vous parlez français, il s'agit du pilote de l'imprimante HP qui cause le
crash the Word 2007. Vous pouvez sélectionner une autre imprimante par
défaut et sélectionner l'imprimant HP seulement quand vous voulez imprimer.
