program will not publish correctly

I have created two sites with publisher 2000 without a problem. I have now
created an updated version of 14 pages using pub 2002. The first page will
not publish but all the others are ok. The first page as published is really
page 4. Is there a limit to the size of site publisher will create? I know
you can only produce 10 page hyperlinks but I have created more than 10 pages
before?

It sounds like you did not name the home page correctly. 2002 does not
default to index.html like Pub 2000 did, and in fact you will find many
differences between the two versions. Ultimately you might want to go back
to Pub 2000 for your website. Read the article by David Bartosik, "Web
Publication Changes Made in Version 2002 of Publisher' for more information
