Programatically create styles with particular fonts and size?

Hi Folks,

How can I programatically generate both character and paragraph styles
wit specific formatting in place? I want this to be part of a macro
which will give choice of styles to enter into a document.

I don't understand the question, could you elaborate a bit? Are you
asking how you can create styles "by example"? As far as I know, there's
no way to do this, except by going through all the formatting attributes,
one-by-one.

FWIW, Word 2002 and Word 2003 do something like this, already.
