Programatically setting a default account

I am using a .PRF file to add a POP3 account to my mail profile. When
I do so, the new account is sometimes set as my default rather than my
Exchange account. I really don't want that to happen to users when I
role this out. How can I either make sure that my new account gets
added as a non-default account or how can I programatically reset the
Exchange account to be the default?

I looked at Microsoft's new Account Manager API, but I couldn't find
any examples on how to use it in any language, let alone a VB.Net
application. If this API is your answer, I'd love some pointers on how
to use it.

How are you creating the PRF file? You should be using CIW or CMW, which has a place to set the default account on the 2nd or 3rd screen that deals with mail profiles.
