Does anyone know how to programmatically resize a slide
show without maintaining the aspect ratio of the slides?
I have a kiosk application that runs on a computer with a
VDU set to 800 x 600 pixel resolution. The slide show will
share screen space with a banner that is positioned at the
top of the screen and is 50 pixels in height.
When I run the slide show I set the top left position of
the show to 50 and 0 pixels respectively. I set the width
and height to 800 pixels and 550 pixels. (I use the top,
left, width and height properties of the SlideShowWindow
object to do this).
When the slide show appears on the screen it looks like
PowerPoint has tried to maintain the slide aspect ratio.
This has the affect of shrinking the slides to a width and
height less than that specified and causing a black border
to appear around the slides.
I want the slides to stretch to the specified width and
height.
