Programme d'installation de Handheld Sync

Hi,
 I used to Synchronise with my palm handheld, Using Palm desktop 4,2,1
Unfortunately, since I have made a new installation of my Palm desktop, it can't be completed anymore.
Here is what it says (in french)
Echec de la synchronisation de Conduit Entourage
Echec de 'Conduit Entourage' (erreur = #-1)
Anyone knows?

Well the conduit is obviously not up to date.
If you use Entourage 2004, you need to install the 2004 conduit (the
Entourage X one won't work) and if you are using 2008, you simply can't
use the Palm software anymore. You have to use SyncServices and an
application like The Missing Sync to sync to your Palm (and there are
numerous issues with that at this point),

May be I forgot to say something .It used to work very well with Entourage 2004 via Palm hotsynchr. Unfortunately, since I reinstalled palm desktop it doesn't work anymore.
Does anyone know both Entourage and Palm-Desktop?
Could the "conflict notifier" be responsible for that failure?

I see... see my other reply then. The conduit simply doesn't work in
Office 2008,

The conflict notifier is actually for SyncServices and the Palm desktop
application doesn't use them at all. The only way is The Missync Sync
right now,

There woudl be a huge difference between what's expected in 2004 and
2008.

With Entourage 2004
With my Palm zire 31 v.1.3 ©2003
Until one week ago I did synchronise correctly my Palm with Entourage
I made a new installation of Palm Desktop.
Very successful with the Palm 4.2.1 system, but since then I can't synchronise with Entourage anymore.
Hoping that I made it understandable.

First make sure Entourage is perfectly up to date,

You might have to reinstall the Palm conduit then,

Yes of course I can certainly see what is in the conduit.
What I have done, is to duplicate my conduit with Palm and, next tuesday, I shall give it another try.
If it doesn't work again, I can retrieve the original conduit and go on without doing the whole work!

Hi Corentin,
I am giving up. It doesn't work, but Palm Desktop works well. So why bother!
In the mean time I had a crash in Entourage and luckily the problem was solved by a repairing software which appeared. I can't believe it!

Hi again Corentin,
Here is the whole explanation:
I have to insert French words tu describe what happened:
1) my palm did not synchronise with Entourage because "la base de données" was damaged.
2) It became so bad that Entourage was not working at all any more
3) Since I could repair "la base de données" Entourage works like new, so does the synchro with my Palm now.
The problem was then that Entourage was getting sick!
