Programme Plan

Hi there,

I have got four project plans in Server that constitue the various parts of
a national programme. I've got the resourcing sorted out, and I opened all 4
plans outside server as a master project. However, I've saved that to a
seperate server, so that Senior Management (who don't have access to Serer)
can see the plan in it's entirety - but if I try and open the programme plan,
it is still looking for the embedded project plans held on a different
server. Is there anyway to cut and paste the tasks, so that the plan would
be viewable without looking for embedded files (in essence, how do I turn a
plan that is a master/subproject plan into an overall plan with tasks
appearing as if the plan were altogether).

Hope this makes sense!

When you are inserting each subproject to create the master project,
deselect the "Link to project" option in the lower right corner of the
Insert Project dialog in Microsoft Project Professional. Hope this helps.
