Programmed Merge doesn't close word & Documents

Well with the help of this forum I have been able to get 90% of my program
working
THANKS to ALL!

I still have a few issues:

1. When the work document opens it access for DB access type. Can this be
illiminated?
2. After Word does the merge and prints the document, the document merge &
merged documents remain opened. and the progress indicator never reaches the
end showin me that the process is hung somewhere. If I click on the close box
of the open document I get "The program is not responding". What can i do to
get this right?
