I ogt an access for that calaculates parts subtotal

and labour subtotals.

Customer would like all subtotals in line before tax.

How is that done?

By using an appropriate Report or Form based on an Query for the table
structure - a structure which you have not posted and therefore which the
volunteers here cannot see to help you.

More info please? Are you talking about "before" in page layout on a Report,
or (quite properly) calculating the tax on a subtotal of all line items,
rather than individually on the line items, or what?
