programming forms for different versions of Outlook

I've been asked to develop some , I hope, fairly straightforward
forms. Since I am running OL2k on W2k, I am concerned that if the
users have later version(s), I will run into problems when publishing
them. I would be really grateful if anyone could advise me.

Also, is this just an issue to do with Exchange server? and, if so,
what do I need to watch out for? (i.e. _must_ I develop on the
required platform).
