I need to program a click event of a shape but im not aware how to d
this in Visio. When someone clicks on the shape, i want it to go to
more detailed drawing (basically a hyperlink). When i simply insert
hyperlink, the default is for the user to have to hover over it, the
double click, then choose the link, i want to avoid all this and jus
take it straight to the link when clicked on. How do i do this?

Thanks

Have you looked at "Behavior" on the Format menu? On the second tab,
Double-Click, is an option "go to page". Once implemented, you only need to
double click the shape. The shape does not have to be selected before double
clicking. A single click will select the shape so that you can then enter
text.
