Progress Bar does not match percent complete

Glenn

I have a blue bar indicating my task. I have a thin black line (centered) to
show my current state of completion. This seemed to be working fine earlier
but I changed something and exactly what is my mystery.

If I enter 50% complete, then my black progress bar should cover only half
of the task bar but it is either 100% or not at all...

What could I have done? Thanks for any direction.

Right click on the Gantt chart and select Bar Style. For the Progress Bar
it should run from Actual Start to Completed Through. Could that have been
changed?

Made the change you recommended with no results. I started a new project
from scratch and found the progress bars to work as they should indicating
the correct percentage of completion. All the settings seem the same. Any
other ideas?

Thanks for your help...

Ok. Now this is really strange. I took my Gantt sheet task list and copied
and pasted it into a new project and now all of the progress bars are showing
up with their correct percentages of completion.

Go figure...

Hi Glen,
Check the calculation tab in the Tools --> Options dialog box. There are
several settings there that affect how tracking updates tasks. It may be
possible that the old file has different settings than the new file.
Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
