Progress bar / status bar

Hi,

I would like to use the progress bar in the status bar, in the same way
Excel is doing when saving the document:
- left side contains some text
- right side is a progress bar

For the text, seems to be easy with Application.Statusbar.
Bur for the progress bar, i don't know how to access it. Is it possible
? Anyone having a sample code ?

And, of course, i need to make it work on win and mac.

I believe there may be some code to do this for WinXL in the archives:

but AFAIK, there's nothing exposed in MacXL that does the same thing.
