Progress lines back to 1984

Hi there,

I am having a problem with my progress lines on my gant chart. I have used
them in many other projects and they have not been a problem. For some reason
for some of the tasks that have been set to 100% complete on a recent date
the progress line is stretching all the way back to 1/01/1984. I have tried
setting my progress line to begin at start of project (which i have checked
and is not 1984) and tried also setting the progress lines to begin at todays
date. Still some progress points are going back to 1984. Can anyone help?

Hi swilks,

Is your project line displaying in relation to the actual plan or the
baseline plan? Just a guess. The 1 January 1984 date is the earliest
date Project recognizes, is it possible that at some point a baseline
was saved that may have included that information?

I use project 2003 now, but had a similar problem once, but do not know
anymore how I solved it.

Did you check you're current date or status date? (Menu: Project | Project
information)
