Progress reaches 66% when hit send/receive then hangs up.

I have one account in Outlook; pop3 & smtp servers are correct. When I click
on Send/Receive for this account it never completes. Progress reaches 66%
and goes no farther. DOes anyone know where I can make a change to fix this?

First, do you have a stong network connection I had this happen when my wireless connection signal kept periodially dropping.

If this is not it have you tried removing this account and readding it, that might help. I have also heard this can happen when a corrupted message makes it keep trying to update the information continually

You can also try creating a new separate Outlook profile and see if you have the same issue on that one as well. If not then create yourself a new profile to resolve the issue. You will want to make sure your POP account is setup to save emails on the server so you can test it on multiple locations.
