Proj.Server 2003/Sharepoint document view

IE crashes when user opens a doc within the All Documents View of Sharepoint.
Using Explorer View solves the issue but is just a workaround. I need a
solution to the All Documents view crash.
This does not happen to all users; just a few.
*all users run XP-sp2 and sp3.

What version of office are you using? Do you have parts of both XP and 2007?

Office 2003 w/ sp3. Only two users affected...both pc's were new stagings;
so, no mix of Office versions would be present.

Does it happen to these users when they logon to a different machine? We
need to do some work to narrow this down. If you're saying that these two
machines are both new, then testing this way should help determine if this
is user-related or machine-related. If the problem follows the users from
machine to machine, then it helps us figure out where to look. Similarly,
can others logon to these machines and render the view successfully?

good suggestion...I'll test w/ my login on the user's pc and then have him
try to view docs on my machine.
