I have an Oracle db schema with the MSP tables (2002 version) in it and
since we upgraded to version 2003 a strange thing started to happen:
When a project is opened and then saved a new PROJ_ID is assigned to
it. The next time it is saved, the PROJ_ID is reverted back to the
original one. Consequent saves use the original ID. If we close MS
Project then open the same document again, we get the same behaviour:
the first save gets a brand new ID, the next reverts to the original
one.
We have seen something similar when upgraded from 2000 to 2002 MSP
versions, but in that case, when a new PROJ_ID was assigned to a
project, it was at least kept like that in future changes. Never seen
it reverting back to the original ID.
Any ideas?
