Project 12 Configuration Guide

Looking for a Project 12 Configuration Guide. Am in the process of expanding
my Project Server 2003 environment and want to ensure that it will fully
support the upgrade to 12 this fall.

I may be wrong, if I am someone can correct me, but I doubt Microsoft will
release a configuration guide for Project Server 12 until around the time
the software is released. Hope this helps.

From the sessions I saw at the Project Conference, configuration will be
quite different. In particular the new caching system means that all
requests get added to a queue so once you identify a bottle neck you simply
add that service to another or new server which makes PS 12 very scaleable.
I suspect you shouldn't worry about second guessing what the new
configurations should look like. My impression was that the same number of
servers will just as well or better.

This is my best guess but the conference message was that there has been a
lot of re-design and building done for 12. Beta 2 when it comes out should
have some draft documentation. keep an eye out on the following blog:
