Project 2002 - EditCopy caused project to close

I have both Project 2000 and 2002 Standard (new) installed. I have a project with multiple projects inserted (Links are retained). These incerted projects are saved in both 2000 and 98 depending on provider of the project plan.
I have created views using special fields.
When I try to select all, edit copy in 2002, I receive the error "MS Project has encountered a problem and must close" I even tried saving all plans in 2002 with no help.
If I open the plan using 2000, everthing works fine.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I know of 2 others with the same problem with the same mpp file that only have 2002 installed.
