Frank

I just installed project 2002 server. I did the install
option that created its own database without using the sql
database. The install goes fine but when i try and logon
to the project web access page it cant seem to logon. Ive
tried every username/password combination without any
luck. Any help would be great thanks

I am having the same problem - have tried 'administrator',
but we also have an 'administrator' in our domain, so I
entered it with a blank password, and a the password for
the Win administrator account.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Which installation routine did you follow?

It was loaded by someone else, but then I uninstalled, and
redid the install based on the installation help that is
installed when the product is loaded. Really just used
the instructions as the CD was loading and prompted for
info - anything that I could've entered incorrectly that
would screw things up? The DB created OK, and
ProjectServer looks fine in IIS.

I need some direction, something to look at. I noticed
that Sharepoint had an error on the install, don't know if
that would cause this problem, but I am reinstalling
Sharepoint now too.

Any ideas for guidance?

For instance, are you running with SQL server or MSDE? One server or ten?
