As far as exporting project data to Excel, you have a couple of choices:
1. Open the project in Microsoft Project 2002, then do File - Save As...
and select "Microsoft Excel Workbook" as the file type. Project will
display the Export Wizard, in which you will need to select the values to
export to Excel.
2. You can run the Analyze Timescaled Data in Excel tool. To do this,
click View - Toolbars - Analysis. Click the Analyze Timescaled Data in
Excel button and select your export options in each page of the wizard.
If you know both MS Project and Excel VBA code, you would also write your
own macro to export the data exactly as you wish. Most people do not have
this skill, however. I have been writing macros in Excel for 5.5 years and
in MS Project/Excel for 3.5 years. Let me know if you would like to hire me
to write one or more macros for you.
