1. Server is running Windows 2003 - Active Directory not installed, using
local accounts.
2. Project 2003 installed on this server along with Sharepoint and MS SQL
3. Performing test connection to sharepoint services results in failure.
Message is:
The specified Windows account must be a valid user on the specified
SharePoint server computer. Furthermore, the Windows account must be in the
SharePoint Central Administrators Group.
To add the Windows account to the SharePoint Central Administrators group,
navigate to the SharePoint Central Administration page and add the account in
the SharePoint Administrators group
In Central SharePoint settings I have the "group" set to test1\admin
Admin is a local user belong to administrator and sts_wpg group.
Basically out of options at this point and have search a number of
documents............
