Project 2003 Client Registry Key Security

Manuel Rodriguez

Hello developers,
I have a small Problem. We use Project 2003 Client and Server to manage our
Software Projects. We use default values and customized values in the
Enterprise Global.

An Example:
We use Enterprise Calendars with a Weekly Duration Option set to 38h. The
default value is 40h. If a Project Manager check in a plan with any other
option (set by the client) there occures errors. So we resolute to deny the
Client to set some options in the Project Client GUI. There are no
capabilities to use Group Policis because Network Security... - The
Domainadmin

Now we could deny write access to the Options stored in the Windows Registry
(HKCU) by the Project Client. We set some default values and the users can't
modify them.

Now, about my question.
Are there any registry to client mappings for the options you could set in
the Project Clients? (Registry Keys @ HKCU) ???

We use SetAcl to deny write rights at the registry.
Thanks for your help.
Greetings from Germany
Manuel
