Project 2003 compatibility

I am trying to find the answer to the same question.

My desktop standard is Project2000, however I am wondering to what extend it
will work server 02, 03?

Compatible in what way and with which versions? Project 2003 can open
files from Project 98 onward. The normal file format can be opened in
2002 and 2000 and it can save in Project 98 format if you designate it
in the "Save As" menu.

I am interested in understanding, to what extent does project 2000 work with
Project server 2002,03: if at all.

Project 2000 can connect to Project Server 2002 or Project Central, but
cannot connect to Project Server 2003
