Project 2003 Post Install Errors & Cleanup

After setting up three servers for Project 2003 -

1) One server runs Project 2003 Server (EPM001)
2) One server runs SQL 2000 SP3
3) One Server runs Windows SharePoint Services Version 2
(EPM003)

I receive an error when I try to configure the SharePoint
Services V2 with the Project 2003 Server in the Manage
SharePoint Configuration webpages on the Project 2003
Server:
http://epm003/sites/MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments/defau
lt.aspx

"Project Server cannot connect to the specified Web
server running Windows SharePoint Services. Please check
the HTTP protocols and port numbers in both URL's."

I can communication no problem with the SharePoint
Services Administrative website (http://epm003:30854)with
no problem when I "TEST THE URL" - and also I can access
the Project Public Documents on the SharePoint Server at
the following URL:

http://epm003/sites/MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments/defau
lt.aspx

I also receive the following error when I try to access
either the RISKS or ISSUES from the Project 2003 Server
HOME PAGE - "There is a problem establishing a connection
with the Web server running Windows SharePoint Services.
Contact your system administrator."

Yet both the UPDATES & TASKS DO NOT GENERATE THIS ERROR.
