Project 2003 Renaming Tool

Using MSP2003 ENT

After reading (.doc) , installing Microsoft’s (Project Renaming Utility) and
then running to tool I get an error message the reads “The server did not
recognize your requestâ€. After running ProjRenamer.exe I get the pop up
window that ask to login, I put in the information logon and the projects on
the server list on the left. I pick one hit rename and the error pops up
“The server did not recognize your requestâ€. One thing I did notice is I
only see the projects listed if I login from my desktop and not onto the
server. The files and setup were done exactly the same on both??? Anyone
come across this error message before and if so what will fix it.

Make sure that you don't use any special characters in the new project name,
such as a period, #, @, \, etc.
