We are using MS Project 2003 for a regular project. nothing fancy. We
are running into a problem. When we assign a particular resouce to one
task, the resouce is causing the start date of the task to unexpectly
move out 5 business days. When I look at the resouce's availability,
it looks great, no issues.
Here is more detailed information:
Task Start End Predecessor Successor Resouce
769 10/12/05 10/12/05 770
770 10/20/05 10/24/05 769 771FS2+1 day Person X
771 10/26/05 10/26/05 770FS+1 Person X
When I look at the resouce Person X I see that she is available
starting on 8/29/05. Her first task in the project plan is 770.
When I remove Person X as the resouce, the start date of task 770 moves
back to 10/13/05.
I tried searching the newsgroup for a similiar problem but could not
find anything.
Thanks for your help, it is probably a simple item I am missing.
