project 2003 security question

How does server determine who the "owner" of a project
is? Is it the PM who saves the file or the PM who
publishes?

The Owner of the project is the person who saves the file. The Manager of
the project is the person who publishes the assignments. Hope this
clarification helps.

In a previous post (dec 2003), Dale A. Howard explained :
In Project Server, the Owner of the project is the person who initially
saved the project in the Project Server database. The Manager of the
project is the person who published the project to PWA by clicking
Collaborate - Publish - All Information.
