When Project 2000 users attempt to upload to our new Project 2003 Server
(using MSDE as db), they get the following:
A problem has occurred with the Microsoft Project Central Server
Try one of the following:
- Check the spelling of the server URL by clicking Options on the Tools
menu, and then clicking the Workgroup tab.
- Check that the resource's name is correct, and that the resource's account
on the Microsoft Project Central server has not been deactivated.
- Check that your administrator has set up the Microsoft Projecct Central
server to allow creation of new server accounts.
- The server may be installed incorrectly or is currently inaccessible.
Contact the server administrator.
I don't think it's a permissions problem - because this happens to me
(administrator access) also. Another user who's got Project 2002 it works
for. Is it that Project 2000 will not work with Project Server 2003?
Thanks for your help!!
