Project 2003 Standard - Quirk?

Hello all -

I just upgraded last week to 2003 Standard SP1 and today
was the first day that I seriously started working with
my existing files. I noticed right away that the rollup
calculation on my customized field does not work. I
uninstalled and rechecked my formulas ... everything
functions in version 2000. Then I re-installed and
checked again ... everything was just fine. Then I
installed SP1 and now the sum rollup will not function
unless I go into Tools-Options-Calculation tab and hit
the Calculate Now button. I have since put that on a
toolbar.

Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? Calculation mode
is set to automatic. It only happens if SP1 is installed.
