Project 2003 - Synchronizing with Active Directory

I'm new to Project and Project Server 2003. In Project Web Access at
http://localhost/ProjectServer/Admin/sec_organization.asp?_oid=-1 under
Server Configuration I'm trying to synchronize the Active Directory group.
When I enter a valid AD group name and click the Update Now button I get the
following error:

The Active Directory group failed to synchronize with the Enterprise
Resource Pool on 01/03/2004 at 12:14 PM.

Will someone please shed some light on this for me?

you see in Event Viewer, it might be fixed with this hot fix
