Project 2003 Trial Issues

I continually get a "Microsoft Project can't load Speech Recognition files.
The feature is not currently installed. Would you like to install it now?"
dialog box. When I tried to install, it screwed up the installation and
expired the trial. I have gotten around the expiration, but this is still an
issue. This pops up extremely frequently and is making the product unusable.

To turn text services off or on
Open Regional and Language Options in Control Panel.
On the Languages tab, under Text services and input languages, click
Details.
On the Advanced tab of the Text services and input languages dialog box,
select the Turn off advanced text services check box to turn text
services off.
To turn text services on, clear the check box.

Click Yes if prompted to confirm your selection.

Why does the trial encounter this issue and the purchased version not
encounter the issue? I have purchased the product and installed with no
issues.

Because you already turned it off when using the trial version?

Other than being curious is there a reason to know this?
