Project 2003 Web Parts and SharePoint Portal 2003

I'm adding the Project 2003 Web Parts to my SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and I've started to modify the .dwp files according to the Help file recommendations to hard-code my Project Server's url in each .dwp file. I've gotten the Project Center Web Part (portview.dwp) done ok, but I cannot find a way to get the Project Report (projects.dwp) to function. The url needs to pull the _projectID from somewhere and the Help file instructions do not account for this in the modification procedures. Any idea how to pull this info for this drill-down web part?
