project 2003 will not display baseline or progress

I have a 3600 activity schedule that I wanted to set a baseline for and it
will not display it after saving the baseline several times and reformating.
My progress also does not display when I input actual start and percent
complete against an activity. It almost appears as though there may be some
buhs in my installation. It has also crashed on me when I saved a baseline?

If you suspect a corrupt file, you could try the suggestions in FAQ Item:
43. File Bloat? - Might be Corruption.

What is the name of the View your are working in ? Gantt Chart ? Tracking
Gantt ?
Have you checked in Format / Bar Styles... that you have the following bar
styles :
- Progress : From Actual Start, To complete Through
- Baseline : From Baseline Start, To Baseline Finish
