Can anyone help? I indented some task, however, I wish to
undo the indent. I can not find out how though.

More than one person has noticed this.
I believe it is a bug.
I know that at least one person has submitted it to Microsoft for
resolution.
In my opinion it is a very serious bug.

Here's the quick way to outdent a task. Just hover the cursor over the task
name until it turn to a left-right arrow. Then click and hold as you move
your cursor to the left. (You can indent in an analogous manner by doing
the same thing and moving the cursor to the right.) If you select multiple
tasks, you can indent or outdent groups of tasks.
