Project 2004 Workgroup Mail Feature

I'm attempting to use the Workgroup Mail feature with Project 2004. I
downloaded and installed the Workgroup Message Handler from a
Microsoft site, and made the registry change as outlined in KB818337.
When someone returns a Request Progress Information e-mail to me and I
use it to update the project, I get the following error message "an
input error occurred. check row 1 column -1". It allows me to ignore
the error and continue on. Any idea as to what might be causing this
error?

I'm getting exactly the same error, "An Import error has occurred. Check row
x column -1."

My project does seem to have been correctly updated, however this error
really shakes my confidence.

Any explanations would be much appreciated.

I am getting the error 'An import error has occurred - Check Row 100 Column
-1. The file may be damaged. Try using backup copy'.

This i am getting this when the Manager clicks 'Update' in the timesheet to
approve the information submitted by his resources. Professional opens up and
throws this error.

Any idea what this mean? It looks very scary. Please help..
