Background: I am new at using Microsoft Project software. I have Project 2007 installed on my local computer. A couple of people in the company are using the trial versions of Project 2010 on their laptops. Some projects are being created in Project 2010, then sent to me to edit, using my Project 2007, and vise versa.
Problem: I made final changes on a project, saved it, printed it, saved again, then closed the program/file. I went back to the project file/opened it and all the data was GONE! Blank project.
The file still exists in my directory, but has no data and the title is showing "Microsoft Project - Project 1" in the upper left-hand corner.
Thank goodness I had printed the project so I can redo it! Unfortunately, all I have is what is displayed on the printout and I will have to figure out and redo all the background work.
Any ideas on what happened?
Thanks!
