Project 2007 and Effort

Looking for suggestions on how to best represent the level of effort for a
project visually - using Gannt chart?

Hi,

One thing is for certain: the gantt Chart is not the best representation for
a level of effort
Try the resoruce usage or the resource graph views.

Hi,

Thank you for posting and welcome to this Microsoft Project General
Questions discussion group.

In addition to Jan's advise:
1.- You can use the "Assign resources" dialog box (ALT+F10), select the
resources you want to view, click on the "Graphs..." button. select "Work" on
the drop-down list (work=effort).
2.- You could also use the "Visual reports", selecting the "Resource Work
Summary Report" and then in Excel, customize the dynamic graph to fit your
needs.
